Sliding scale:
Tom is a professional circus artist and teacher with a rich and diverse background in acrobatics.
He began with Dutch acrobatics, refined his skills through Ukrainian technique, and continued developing under the guidance of internationally experienced coaches. His movement style blends acrobatics, dance, and martial arts, creating a unique and expressive approach.
Some of his teachers include:
Jim & Det, Wybren Wouda (ACAPA; Codarts), Slava Kukuskin (Kiev; Moscow; ESAC), and Chris Murawski — a German-Polish sport acrobat with over 20 national and international titles.
Born in Bavaria (and famously the only German who’s never on time ), Tom tried nearly every sport before discovering acrobatics at 18 — and never looked back.
While studying chemical engineering, he began performing across Europe in duos, trios, and group acts. After an early-life crisis in 2014, he made the bold decision to leave his studies and train at ACAPA Circus School in Tilburg, where he graduated alongside Ayla Moes, now one of his regular acrobatic partners.
Since then, Tom has performed in festivals, theatres, operas, circuses, and dance productions across Europe — and continues to share his passion for movement through teaching and performance.
