Tom is a dynamic and skilled circus artist and teacher with a rich background in acrobatics. He began his journey in Dutch acrobatics, later enhancing his skills with Ukrainian techniques. His work was further refined under the mentorship of Europe’s best and experienced coaches and colleagues in the circus world.
Born in Bavaria, Germany, Tom explored many sports before discovering acrobatics at 18. While studying chemical engineering, he developed a passion for performance, joining acrobatic groups across Europe. In 2014, after an „early-life crisis,“ he left his studies and became a guest student at ACAPA circus school in Tilburg, marking the start of his career. Since then, Tom has performed at prestigious festivals, theaters, circuses, and dance shows across Europe and beyond.
Known for his sharp wit, love of comedy, and relaxed approach to life, Tom’s playful nature is a key component of his teaching and performance style. His acrobatics combine technical precision with an effortless flair, and his teaching reflects this balance of discipline and creativity. He believes that acrobatics and aesthetics can only truly flourish when supported by a strong foundation of technique, discipline, and mental focus.
As a teacher, Tom incorporates humor, challenges, and a deep understanding of technique into his practice. His wide-ranging knowledge, built from diverse backgrounds and experiences, allows him to create intelligent progressions and provide personalized cues to help students reach their potential. His goal is to make professional training accessible to recreational and semi-professional acrobats. Tom has also founded training programs such as „Acromania“ and „Airtime Acrobatics“ to further this mission. His dedication to teaching ensures that students develop not only their skills but also a sustainable and healthy approach to acrobatics.

His approach is rooted in intelligent progressions and personalized cues, drawing from his diverse experiences and vast knowledge of acrobatics.
