This workshop is all about building stronger Hand to Hand and Foot to Hand technique — from improving your main positions and tempos to understanding how to approach harder and more complex skills.
We’ll spend time refining the foundations that make everything else easier: clean positions, efficient technique, good timing and solid tempos. From there, we’ll use these basics to work towards different H2H and F2H tricks, with variations and progressions for different levels.
A big focus of the weekend will be on how to learn difficult skills efficiently. Instead of simply trying a trick again and again, we’ll look at how to break it down, identify what is missing and build useful drills and progressions around it.
The workshop is aimed at intermediate to advanced acrobats. Different variations will allow everyone to work at an appropriate difficulty while still training together.
Tom’s teaching style combines clear technical explanations, lots of drills and individual feedback. The goal is not only to give you new tricks, but to give you a better understanding of your own technique and more tools for your future training.
You should be comfortable with:
Registering with a partner is strongly recommended.
Working with the same partner throughout the weekend makes it much easier to develop timing, apply corrections and progress into more difficult skills. If possible, come together with someone who is at a similar level and who also meets the pre-requisites.
The Supporter Ticket is for anyone who is happy to contribute a little more and help make the reduced ticket price possible.
The Reduced Ticket is available for participants who currently need a lower price. No explanation required.
